  2. As we look at Hamlet in detail, we may notice many different areas that give off a hint as to what the subject of Hamlet really is. There are many areas infact, that introduce the theme through the text. whether the theme revolves around anger, love, insanity and even women; Peoples opinion based on the theme are all absolutely correct if of course, they back up their statement.

  3. I would agree that "Revenge" is the main subject of the whole play. It was mentioned in the first chapter where Hamlet encounter his fathers ghost. I believe it was in that very scene which sparked the rest to come. The author stresses revenge. Hamlet is now introduced as an even different character after realizing the murderer is in bed with his mother, not to mention, its his uncle. Tell me you wouldnt go crazy aswell.

  4. The author has a very unique way of distinguishing the meat and potatoes of the overall play. As mentioned, in the second comment, women can even have a big influence on Hamlet's Anger. As they do nothing but wrong to him during this stressful time. If it weren't for women destroying his mental thought, he may have been sane.

  5. These are all wonderful ideas,I also am interested and directing myself toward mike. Women did(as i think about it) have nothing but negativity toward Hamlet jr. Im very interesting at what your opinion is based on Hamlet's "to be or not to be" speech.

  6. I think he's just crazy. seeing ghosts, abusing the queen, being devilish toward the women race etc. you know suicide is in somones mind when they seriously go into depth about their own existence.

  7. yes, he may have been acting a little harsh toward everyone, but nobody truly knew what was wrong with him besides the audience. Sympathy is written all over him. His father died, and his mother with a liar and a murderer. Not only has that happened, His father mysteriously had a conversation with him, after his death. Pretty freaky stuff.
